Contribute to the Newsletter

We need content to include in these newsletters!!!

Not only can we not make these without your help, but these newsletters are very important because most of our Hatting information is being shared on facebook, and numerous Hatters do not use facebook and therefore miss out on the connections, networking, event notices and don’t get to see what fun things other Hatters get up to.

So PLEASE, help your Hatting sisters out by sending in some things to share in our newsletters that can benefit ALL hatters, even those who don’t use social media!

Some suggestions:

  • Photos and writeup of a fun event you’ve been to.
  • Hatter themed recipes – eg red/purple foods or recipes for dishes you take along to Hatting events that have been popular.
  • Hatter themed craft ideas – If you’ve had a craft day, we’d love to see pics!
  • Hatter themed outing/game ideas – Been to an outing you enjoyed or played a fun game? Share it.
  • Hatter interview – Please include a photo, and tell us:
    • About yourself – any interesting hobbies?
    • How you found Hatting and how long you’ve been a Hatter.
    • Your favourite memories of Hatting.
    • What Hatting has meant to you.
    • Are there any interesting traditions in your chapter?

Each month, anyone who sends in something that can be used in the newsletter will be entered into a draw to receive a small thank you gift!

Chapters who have sent in a total of 5 or more articles (not including event notices) that can be used in the newsletters will receive an Australian Hatting certificate and membership cards with their chapter name already filled out (as a printable file) as a thank you!

Please make sure that anyone shown in photos has given permission for the photos to be shared to the newsletter. By submitting content for the newsletter, you give permission for it to be included in our newsletters and for it to be published to this website.
