As a tribute to our late Supreme Matriarch Florence Slattery of Rose City Red Hatters who was first to bring the Red Hat concept of love, laughter and friendship to Australia, and receiving her original charter 25th July 2001, and on behalf of the ladies of all chapters who recognise the feat of this lovely lady who turned 100 on 22 June 2016 – (sadly she passed away in February 2018 while still taking a keen interest in red hatters)
